WINDWARD ISLANDS manages the total refit of "Etoile Magique", this sailing catamaran of 82 feet, in collaboration with the architect/designer Philippe Renaudeau and the shipyard Squalt Marine International.

This catamaran was built in 2005 by the French shipyard : Etoile Marine, at the demand and on the plans of a French ocean racer : Bob Escoffier.
The boat was destined to sporting cruises (Windsurf, Kitesurf, Diving, ...) and to follow sailing ocean races.

His current owner decided to purchase this yacht in 2016 and asked to our company to manage for him a total refit ; his objective was to have a boat for private use, modern, fully equipped with luxury furnitures and equipments.
We have worked with the Architect/designer Philippe Renaudeau (PHR Yacht Design) and determined with the owner the new boat specifications. From these specifications, all the plans were made by the Designer.

Today, owner has business imperatives and he is ready to sell his catamaran with his refit project, or not.
This total refit was determined in two phases :
1st phase : Haul out, complete disassembly, structure verification, complete cleaning.
2nd phase : New engines, new electric systems (including new generator), new plumbing, new electronics (a part of the current electronic was retained), new flybridge with jacuzzi, hydraulic swim platform, new interior and exterior layouts, new cabins & bathrooms, new galley, new equipments installation, new inside helm station, new hulls and rigging paints, new sails, new deck hardware, ...

To date, Phase One is complete.
The futur owner is able to determine with the Designer the equipments and furnitures of this catamaran.

The indicated price at 1.450.000€ took into account the expectations of the current owner who wanted high-end equipments and furnitures.
