The FP 51 succeeds the Aura 51, launched in 2022, which established itself as a benchmark in the 50-foot catamaran market. Building on this success, Fountaine Pajot is evolving the model to integrate it into its new generation of catamarans, retaining the fundamentals that made the Aura so successful while incorporating design and equipment upgrades suited to current cruising practices. It is the latest flybridge-free sailing catamaran in the range, designed by the Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design firm,

Standard propulsion: 2x 60hp, with an optional 2x 75hp
Hybrid electric version: available as part of the ODsea+ program, a solution developed in-house by the shipyard to maximize the use of renewable energy and cruising autonomy, without relying on third-party engine manufacturers for R&D.
The deck has been redesigned to prioritize comfort and living space:
- Opening of the saloon onto the cockpit, making conversations easier and maneuvering communications safer,
- Large, oversized cockpit table,
- Smooth circulation and optimized ergonomics between interior and exterior, with no break between the spaces,
- Redesigned coachroof, sleeker lines,
- Integrated solar panels (around 2000 W), mounted flush with the deck so as not to compromise either the aesthetics or the use of the living spaces — particular attention was paid to reconciling energy autonomy with design.
The FP 51's standout feature is its extensive layout modularity, with up to 6 double cabins available — a unique offering on a sailing catamaran of this size. Every version features private ensuite bathrooms in each cabin, even in the charter version (a first for this segment).
The interior ambiance, named "Millésime 2027" ("2027 Vintage"), is built around serenity: soft, light tones, light wood finishes, pleasant-to-the-touch textiles, and rounded, enveloping lines (notably on the headboards). Natural light flows abundantly through the space, reinforcing a sense of calm and everyday well-being.
The FP 51 is aimed at sailors — with or without crew — seeking comfortable long-distance cruising, able to host family or friends in numbers thanks to its versatile layouts, while enjoying a level of performance and finish that firmly places it within Fountaine Pajot's new generation.
